Tax Accountant

Responsibilities

Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns

Conduct tax research and develop strategies to minimize tax liability for clients

Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations

Collaborate with clients to gather necessary tax documents and information

Assist in resolving any tax-related issues or audits

Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients

Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

CPA certification preferred

Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting

In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations

Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., ProSeries, Lacerte)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
