Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Tax Accountant to join our Finance industry team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and taxation, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial reports, managing accounting transactions, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for providing expert advice on partnership taxation, and using CCH Axcess to streamline our tax processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries, to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial data.
  • Provide expert advice on partnership taxation, including the preparation and filing of partnership tax returns, and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Use CCH Axcess to streamline our tax processes, including the preparation and filing of tax returns, and ensure that all tax-related data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Work closely with other members of the Finance team, including the CFO and other tax professionals, to ensure that all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Continuously improve our financial processes and procedures, and identify opportunities to streamline our operations and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification required.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting and taxation.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Expertise in partnership taxation, including the preparation and filing of partnership tax returns.
  • Experience using CCH Axcess or other tax software to streamline tax processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
