We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Permanent Tax Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team. This role will be responsible for preparing individual and company tax returns, providing tax advice, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public tax, accounting, and possess a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review individual and corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
2. Provide innovative tax planning strategies and compliance expertise to clients.
3. Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to optimize financial outcomes and minimize tax liability.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze financial data.
5. Assist in tax audits and respond to tax notices, liaising with tax authorities as necessary.
6. Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, and ensure all processes are updated accordingly.
7. Prepare quarterly and annual tax reports.
8. Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all tax-related activities.
10. Work closely with management to provide financial planning and analysis support.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in public tax and accounting, with a focus on individual and company returns.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of tax laws, compliance procedures, and best practices.
5. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax information in a clear and concise manner.
8. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. Proactive and independent, with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
10. Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
