Tax Accountant

What The Tax Accountant Will Do
- Prepare corporate and partnership tax filings and supporting documentation
- Research and document tax issues, filing requirements, etc. on an as needed basis
- Coordinate with finance and accounting personnel to gather and review financial reporting data
- Assist in tax audits with researching, gathering, and preparation of documentation
- Serve as champion of fixed asset accounting for tax purposes
- Assist indirect tax team with filings and/or research when availability allows
- Perform ad hoc research and planning analysis as directed
- Providing consultants and/or third parties with needed information
- Perform routine administrative matters as directed
What The Company Needs In a Tax Accountant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related
- Tax experience in a CPA firm or in industry
- CPA certification desirable not required
- Ability to research, interpret and analyze technical tax and accounting material
- Quickbooks Pro and Pro Series HIGHLY desired
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong integrity and confidentiality
