Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the project manager for a large, complex task order (or a group of task orders affecting the same system).
Assist the Program Manager in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives. Responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner.
Facilitate the initiation of the contract by ensuring all necessary preparations and procedures are in place.
Compile and present monthly status reports detailing the progress, achievements, and challenges encountered during project execution.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans outlining objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and milestones.
Prepare and submit monthly reports in compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., DoD 8570 / DoD 8140).
Provide dedicated Contract Project Manager (CPM) support, overseeing the performance of work, reporting, meetings, briefings, and presentation materials.
Coordinate with stakeholders, including the Contracting Officer (KO), Contracting Officer Representative (COR), RPA Program Manager (PM), and J6 Technical Points of Contact (TPOCs), to ensure alignment with project objectives and requirements.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize potential disruptions or delays.
Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Attend relevant meetings and provide necessary support to address task requirements and project needs. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education:
BS or BA or four (4) additional years of related experience.
Experience:
Five (5) years relevant experience AND Five (5) years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
Certifications:
Project Management certification (i.e., Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, other recognized certification, etc.)
Relevant certification from a nationally recognized authority. DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAM Level III
CISM
CISSP (or Associate)
GSLC
CCISO Clearance:
