LSF is looking for a talented Talent Acquisition Specialist who wants to make an impact in the lives of others.

Purpose and Impact:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for building a talent pipeline for all current and future hiring needs of the organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will identify, source and screen active and passive candidates for the organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will assist in developing a comprehensive, inclusive, and data driven sourcing strategy focused on both passive candidate recruitment and active candidate recruitment, utilizing a talent intelligence approach to identify trends and leverage knowledge, data, and the organizations values proposition to develop customized/robust sourcing strategies that are creative and innovative. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will guide candidates from pre-application through hand off to the hiring managers, cultivating relationships with hiring managers and providing counsel throughout the hiring process.

Essential Functions:


• Attract, source, recruit, and deliver top talent to the organization.

• Apply best-in-class recruitment tactics such as cold-calling, internet searches, database mining, social media, and other methods to recruit the best people for each position.

• Create a candidate pipeline and leverage pipeline for ongoing recruitment.

• Create creative and engaging messaging to attract candidates.

• Build passive candidate searches to attract passive candidates, using keyword and Boolean search methods, research, and internal/external networks. Measure response rates to targeted searches.

• Source candidates via resume databases and networking sites.

• Interact with candidates on social media and professional networks.

• Introduce candidates to the organization and initiate their LSF hiring journey.

• Screen qualified candidates for job requirements and company culture.

• Evaluate candidates for multiple positions and guide them through the best role fit and organization hiring requirements.

• Leverage innovative recruiting technologies and tools to connect with a broad and diverse talent network. Recommend best practices and new tools.

• Identify and evaluate new sourcing tools as they become available in the marketplace and work with the Director of Talent Management to determine viable tools for future consideration.

• Explore new, creative ways of sourcing talent to optimize success.

• Partner with hiring managers on candidate needs.

• Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, are invited to interviews, receive offers and are hired.

• Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities.

• Keeps high quality declined candidates "warm" with regular out-reach calls/emails.

• Collaborate with Programs, the Talent Management Team, and the HR Team.

• Work on projects to improve the Talent Acquisition strategy.

• Function as an LSF representative in all opportunities to positively promote career opportunities within the company. Attend job fairs, community events, including chamber of commerce events and any other outside events to promote company career opportunities and career brand.

• Serve as a liaison to candidates with a current job offer to keep them engaged during the pre-employment process including engaging candidates with regular check in's, answering questions, and creating excitement for their first day at the organization.

• May directly support program with recruitment administrative tasks.

• May support recruitment efforts at colleges/universities by partnering with career services, faculty/staff, and student groups as well as creating formal company internship program.

Physical Requirements:

Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources or equivalent (Required).

Experience:

• One - three years of experience in Talent Sourcing in an agency or corporate setting. Recruiting/Talent Sourcing in non-profit, human services, health care or education preferred.

• Familiarity sourcing using candidate sourcing databases and tools (LinkedIn, Handshake, Indeed, etc.)

• Experience evaluating candidates (behavioral, skill or competency-based)

• Ability to take initiative and build strong relationships with a wide variety of colleagues and leaders.

• Ability to maneuver through ambiguity with flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

• Bilingual preferred: English/Spanish or English and other languages present in the local area.

Skills:

• Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

• HRIS/ATS experience; UKG preferred.

• Basic math skills needed to calculate data. Ability to collect, organize and evaluate data, develop and present logical conclusions.

• Ability to handle confidential information.

• Ability to use a computer and related software (Teams, Zoom, etc.)

• Ability to produce and interpret graphs, charts, and spreadsheets.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Effectively communicator with co-workers and the public and work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Exceptional organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet designated deadlines.

• A great attitude with the ability to have constructive conversations with business leaders.

• Ability to multitask and learn new material quickly

• Detail-oriented and highly organized

Other:

• Must demonstrate sensitivity to our service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and needs.

• Successful completion of a Level II background screening, local criminal record check and drug screening prior to hiring.

• Must be able to travel via car throughout the state approximately 50-70% of the time. May need to work occasional evenings/weekends to accommodate travel and attendance at events.

• Employees are Tampa based employees with remote work privileges offered. Employees must be able to report to Tampa office as requested.
