Salary Range: $85,373 - $150,000 Individual will support Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) to provide common and precise position and time references to surface, sub-surface, air and space-borne assets, enabling safety of navigation, communications, command and control, combat and weapon systems. Individual will investigate and analyze PNT technology gaps and innovative/emergent PNT technology
applications and techniques to fulfill those identified gaps. Essential Job Functions: Provide test and evaluation engineering in support of enabling technologies for PNT to be demonstrated in laboratory and relevant operational environments to determine their military utility. Identify, plan, design, and implement laboratory enhancements required to develop and/or evaluate enabling and existing PNT technologies. Design and build prototypes to demonstrate new technologies/requirements into new or existing military PNT sensors/systems. Plan and execute necessary processes and management controls to achieve all management, technical, logistical, cost, and schedule objectives. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math, or related degree, plus 10 years of experience. Active Secret Clearance. 10+ years of experience in Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) related fields, including development, testing, analysis and integration of PNT systems. Experience in leading small engineering teams, defining scope of projects, and scheduling tasking. Experience with defining of system requirements. Proficient with Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) simulators: setting up scenarios, calibrating signals, running tests. Proficient at testing GNSS receivers: defining tests to meet requirements, executing tests, analyzing data, and troubleshooting results. Proficient at working in a lab environment, and using measurement tools such as Oscilloscopes and Spectrum Analyzers. Proficient with C/C , and Python.
