Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

Summary: RTL Networks has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer. We seek qualified professionals to support the NAVAIR Cyber T&E group with Penetration Testing for Weapons and Platforms, MBSE (understanding CAMEO/CATIA) for model and tool development, and Cyber Systems Security Engineering. The ideal candidate will have existing experience with US Navy or other DoD environments. Primary Responsibilities: Essential responsibilities of the Systems Engineer include, but are not limited to: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand penetration requirements and translate them into actionable testing. Apply cyber knowledge to cross-cutting problems facing the DoD. Apply modeling to support systems or SoS' requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities. Produce reports to support the management of MBSE/digital environment activities and decision making. Implement a model-based culture, leveraging capabilities of the digital enterprise environment infrastructure of the organization. Apply your knowledge of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework/Unified Architecture Framework (DoDAF/UAF) to ensure compliance and alignment with established standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations research, or other sciences where the utilization of advanced technical skills. DoD Top Secret Security Clearance. Recent, relevant experience performing testing on DoD systems. Recent, relevant experience performing cyber research and/or penetrations on DoD systems. Recent, relevant experience performing Model Based Systems Engineering. Significant experience in U.S. Navy/DoD programs or operations is highly preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time. Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top-Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for clearance at this location. NOTE: The applicant selected for this position must have and be able to maintain an Active Security Clearance.
