The Battlefield Radar (BFR) group in Fullerton, CA, is seeking an experienced Radar Systems Engineer for one or more of its programs on the Sentinel radar product line for development. This entails radar software requirements definition and system integration/test. We value diverse skills and experience, so don't hold back. Your qualification could add tremendous value to our team. • Develop, manage, and maintain system and software requirements in Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)

• Radar integration and test support, including live fire test events

• Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and design

• Algorithm optimization and development

• Functional analysis of real world and test data; trade studies to bring advanced features to fielded system

• Domestic and international travel as needed

• Support Systems level Integration and test planning, design, and execution

• Perform integration and test activities In-house or at site locations.

• Develop Test plans, procedures and test cases Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of prior relevant experience. In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance by Day 1. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Value:

Clearance Information: This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
This requisition is eligible for an employee referral award. ALL eligibility requirements must be met to receive the referral award. The salary range for this role is 70,000 USD - 142,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
