Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

A Systems Engineer (Collaboration) position is currently available at Belcan in Evendale, OH 45215. This is a full time, direct hire position with full benefits. To be considered for this role, you must be a US citizen and must possess a Federal Security Clearance at a secret level or higher or be willing to obtain one. Additionally, you must hold a current CompTIA Security+ certification, an equivalent, or be willing to obtain one. Ideal candidates will have a level 3-4 competency equivalent to an associate degree plus a minimum of four (4) years' work experience supporting, building, and deploying Email, SharePoint, and Communications systems. The roles and responsibilities for this position will include, but not be limited to:
Provide technical expertise in collaboration technologies (including Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint, and Unified Communications) design concepts and infrastructure implementations.
Solve escalations with granular detail and root cause analysis.
Build and deploy collaboration technologies in a singular or multi-tenant, air-gapped, secure environment Investigate, Test, and Implement software upgrades for all collaboration technologies with aid from the vendor or by reading and understanding release notes.
Develop, Apply, and Maintain best practice security guidelines for collaboration technologies
Assess a situation and derive the proper plan of corrective action quickly and decisively
Create and evaluate designs and changes to collaboration technologies in existing environments
Coordinate with external stakeholders and other technical and security experts for collaboration technology needs for current deployments in existing areas. Qualifications:
Candidates must be US persons, have (or be eligible to obtain) a DoD Secret security clearance with an investigation date within the last five years, and a DoD 8750 certification at or above the level of a Security+.
Proven experience with MS Exchange, MS SharePoint, and a major Unified Communications platform (Avaya, Cisco, or another)
Strong verbal and written communication skills, to include the ability to produce and deliver presentations and training on new technology implementations.
Proactive disposition to research technical issues, contribute to process and technology improvement discussions, and learn new tools and technologies required to excel in their role.
Professional Demeanor to work in an active professional office environment and ability to communicate with high level managers and decisionmakers as needed.
Collaboration, Decision Making, and Risk Management - experience in change planning and execution, ability to understand the requirements of complex changes and work with Program/Product Managers to engage other departments & resources as required. Compensation:

This position is offering a salary of $90,000 to $115,000, however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
