Systems Engineer

Job Description As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for participating in and leading activities that include architecting, designing, developing, testing, and debugging of operating systems that run NetApp/Nutanix storage applications in support of the mission. What You Will Be Doing : Analyzing requirements, understanding the architecture, and troubleshooting other data processing problems for applications. Performing general troubleshooting, root cause analysis, hardware replacement, system configuration, and software and firmware upgrades for NetApp/Nutanix storage solutions. Installation (connecting and starting up) and configuration of the new storage environment at the client's data center. Designing and implementing of file storage systems. Designing and implementing of disaster recovery strategies for the storage infrastructure. Designing and implementing of file storage migration. Developing and maintaining appropriate controls and documentation. Utilizing industry and OEM best practices for the installation and configurations of storage systems. Analyzing storage maintenance and problem resolutions activities on mission systems running a variety of operating systems including Linux and Windows.
