Systems Engineer II

Systems Engineer II - MBSE LV8D Solutions is looking for a Systems Engineer II - MBSE who is excited about space-based communication systems and supporting ground infrastructure, has a strong desire to learn advanced Model-Based Systems Engineering techniques, and is prepared to serve as a technical member of a dynamic team providing full lifecycle, end-to-end Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) services. Interested candidates need to thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment; are highly motivated and not afraid to take on uncharted territory; possess strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills; and be able to prioritize their time to be effective in a dynamic environment. Qualifications: Education / Experience:
• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or
• Master's degree and 0-2+ years of relevant experience
• BS or higher in Systems Engineering or related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, operations research, engineering management, or STEM degree program Clearance:
• TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Requirements / Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with other engineers to develop end-to-end models of complex systems to include architecture and behavior of the system using Systems Modeling Language (SysML)
• Identify and implement modern digital engineering solutions to complex problems and processes
• Develop System Architecture Model (SAM) to be sufficiently precise and complete to serve as the authoritative source of truth for all engineering processes involved in the system project
• Familiarity with industry space-based communication capabilities
