Nesco Resource is searching for a SYSTEMS/ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR to work on a major bridge construction project in Detroit. This is a DIRECT PLACEMENT opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES/SCOPE OF WORK

  • Carry out quality control activities identified in this CQMP and ITPs
  • Receiving material inspections, in-process inspections, testing coordination, and notification to 3rd parties
  • Evaluate and document the quality of Construction Work performed by the company, Canada, Suppliers and/or Subcontractors, including conformance with PA requirements, RFC drawings and specifications, fulfilling all the QC assigned activities in the related Inspection and Test Plan
  • Verify that any equipment that requires so, is fit for purpose, is properly calibrated and maintained as required
  • Identify and report non-compliant Construction Work and supplied product when discovered, and review/ monitor disposition of Non-Compliances
  • Control the further processing, delivery, installation or use of non-compliant Construction Work or supplied product until the unsatisfactory conditions are corrected, controlled or removed
  • Coordinate quality activities with the CQM and any other agency having jurisdiction, including Utilities and Governmental Authorities
  • Prepare and maintain quality records pertaining to their assigned portion of work

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

Depending on the scope of work they are required to have experience in civil construction Quality Assurance and Quality Control inspection, testing and related activities to units Such as earthworks, concrete, formwork, rebar, PT, pre-cast concrete structural elements, paving, grouting, bolting and torqueing, structural welding, building architecture

Building installations, Electrical/instrumentation/HVAC
Design-Build or P3 Experience on Infrastructure Projects

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/PREFERRED

Experience, degree on Electrical/Mechanical related fields and or Professional Certifications on Electrical Installations will be an asset
