Systems Developer

We are looking for a Systems Developer, who will be responsible for the administration, design, coding, modification and maintenance of our Sage 100 ERP application and associated modules. This person will work closely with various departments to understand their business needs and provide them with the best technical solutions. As the Sage Developer, you will also manage Sage 100-focused projects between various departments and third-party solutions providers.

Duties:

• Develop and customize Sage 100 ERP applications and modules according to business requirements and best practices. (e.g. accounting, general ledger, AP, AR, production tracking, inventory management, order desk, transportation, etc.)
• Provide oversight of compliance standards for Sage 100 implementation and data. (e.g. FCA, ISO, GDPR, etc.)
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather and understand business requirements.
• Design, code, and test new features and enhancements in Sage 100 ERP.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Sage applications and modules.
• Analyze, review, and alter existing solutions to increase efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to users and executive staff.
• Document technical specifications, test plans, and user guides.
• Conduct training sessions for end users on Sage 100 functionalities.
• Participate in the company's Data Strategy Team.
• Maintain information confidentiality and security.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 4 to 6 years' experience in ERP systems administration and development in a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of ERP modules and functionalities. (e.g. accounting, general ledger, AP, AR, production tracking, inventory management, order desk, transportation, etc.)
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C , JavaScript, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of file structures.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and ASP.NET.
• Familiarity with reporting and business intelligence tools like Crystal Reports and PowerBI.
• Experience integrating ERP systems with other systems. (e.g. ETL, API, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent task and project management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with Sage 100 or X3 administration and development preferred. Other ERP experience is still considered.
• Able to travel up to 15% of the time to other office locations.
