The Leidos Digital Modernization sector is seeking a Systems Administrator in support of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The successful candidate should have experience with software installation and integration experience, along with some networking experience (switches, routers and/or firewalls). The Systems Administrator will maintain systems in production and provide support (patching, STIGs, troubleshooting, etc.). Candidate will be responsible for the management and enforcement of all security policies and processes related to the systems. Candidate should have knowledge and experience with configuring and supporting SCCM/MECM server and applications. Selected candidate will be assisting a small team of Systems Administrator supporting our customers' requirements and running Production and Development systems. Candidate should be experienced with Linux and Windows operating systems, virtualization technologies (ex: VMWare), networking devices, DoD information assurance requirements and STIG checklists. Candidate should be able to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, to supporting agency cybersecurity teams as well as the team itself, including the government representative. There will be daily interaction with the team, customers and our Government representatives. Primary Responsibilities: Perform system monitoring, server integrity checks, review system and application logs, and verify scheduled job completion. Report on any issues found. Perform daily system monitoring, cyber task order compliancy, review system and application logs, and overall system security health. Report on any issues found to government and Task Order management. Installation and troubleshooting of customer software, including an understanding of licenses needed. Manage applications within SCCM/MECM for both unclassified and classified enclaves, to include scanning software for vulnerabilities when submitted by customer, creating, and testing packages, deploying in Production and updating all necessary IA documentation. Generate necessary IA compliancy reports on new software on a monthly basis in preparation for presentation to government. Manage coordination with team on vulnerability scans across multiple enclaves and classifications levels. Perform scans and analyze results, presenting findings to team as necessary, either on a daily basis, no less than weekly. Perform testing and installation of patches on all assets as necessary to bring vulnerability scans into compliancy. Develop and maintain standard documentation such as security policies, work instructions, standard operating procedures and processes. Manage team's effort in completing DISA STIG checklists as they are released, including conversion of checklists to new versions, working with teams to apply all changes as necessary, answer any technical questions that may arise, plan and schedule ERB/CCB meeting and review implementation and documentation of solutions. Create Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs) based on results. Manage the Windows and Linux servers in both the unclassified and classified environments. Implement and verify that all hardening process have been implemented as well as the functionality of applications. Update Information Assurance (IA) teams with all changes while notifying Task Order and customer leadership of all changes. Present solutions to greater technical problems to Task Order leadership. Solutions should show an understanding of not only the technical issues but also financial requirements (i.e. licenses). Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or a Masters degree with 2+ years of relevant working experience additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of degree. Secret Clearance required, TS preferred. Current, unexpired, Comptia Security+CE (or equivalent) - will be verified before hiring. Experience with SCCM and ACAS. Experience with security documentation (including POAMs and STIG checklists). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ESS. Experience using JIRA for ticket and project tracking. Hands-on experience with software approval process, including COTS and GOTS products. Windows Operating Systems 2016 and 2019. Linux Operating Systems Red Hat 7.x (or equivalent). CISCO networking experience (switches and/or routers). DoD IA requirements (STIGs, vulnerability scans, patching, etc.). Original Posting Date: 2024-05-16
