We're looking for a system administrator to build and maintain the infrastructure solutions that meet customer needs and take advantage of cloud capabilities and services to help us maintain ISR capabilities. As a system administrator on our team, you'll help clients overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your knowledge will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Your communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and articulate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience in the latest cloud te chn ologies, as you look for ways to improve your customer's environment using cloud capabilities and services. You'll be able to sharpen your skills in computer programming and scripting languages while developing critical systems for the Air Force. You Have: 1+ years of experience with IT system administration Experience with sustaining IT Data Centers Experience with server hardware installation and configuration Experience with Windows Servers Knowledge of scripting languages, including Python, BASH, Perl, or PowerShe Knowledge of RHEL V7.9 and V8.X Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in Science, Te chn ology, Engineering, or Mathematics ( STEM ) Ability to obtain IAT or IAM II Certification within 60 days of hire Nice If You Have: Experience with Dell EMC Isilon storage solutions Experience with containerization, including Kubernetes AWS SysOps Administrator Certification Windows Server Administrator Certification Red Hat Certified Administrator Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
