Mount Indie is presently collaborating with our Small Business Prime in the bidding phase for a contract to deliver IT and Cyber Security services to the IT Division within the NSWC Corona Division, Corporate Operations Department. This contract provides support to diverse units, encompassing the Command Information Office, Information Technology Operations, Information Management Customer Services, and Cyber Security. In alignment with this initiative, we are actively seeking a Systems Administrator: Daily responsibilities include:
•Administering, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining operating system and related software.
•Establishing and implementing standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters.
•Troubleshooting and resolving software, operating system, and networking problems.
•Scheduling and monitoring system backups and, when necessary, performing data recoveries.
•Installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation.
•Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services.
•Training staff on software applicable to their position, assist customers with information technology, monitors system configuration (hardware and software), and provides instruction on computers and applications. Position requirements:
•Compliance with Cyber WorkForce (CWF) directives is required for this role.
•Bachelor's level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
•3 years professional experience in systems administration.
