Potential Inc.'s Systematic Skill Builder will join our team of professionals providing services to adult participants throughout Bucks County. You will help adults with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and/or Autism to reach their full potential by using evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methods to develop the participant's Skill Building Plan. In this role, you will provide direct and consultative support to your participants, family members, and other support providers to ensure a proper understanding of the Skill Building Plan. The Systematic Skill Builder also monitors data during the implementation of the Skill Building Plan.


What does a Systematic Skill Builder do?

  • Work with adults ages 21 years and older with varying service needs
  • Use the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to develop and implement Skill Building plans
  • Evaluate the individual's abilities and learning style
  • Support family members, friends, other support providers, and employers to help them understand the objectives of the Skill Building Plan
  • Communicate with the individual and their families on progress to meeting objectives on ISP through the S kill Building Plan
  • Monitor data during the implementation of the Skill Building Plan
  • Graphing of all required data for assessing progress toward the objectives and goals of the plan
  • Modify and revise the Skill Building Plan as needed

We Offer Flexible Scheduling between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday - Friday. This role will start at 12 hours per week with the opportunity to add additional hours if desired.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1 year of experience working with individuals with Autism
  • RBT certification preferred
  • Reliable vehicle to commute throughout Bucks County to see clients in the community
  • Valid driver's license with proof of up-to-date car insurance and registration
