Position Summary: LinQuest is seeking an exceptional System Safety Professional for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). The System Safety Professional will support the Air Force's ICBM weapon system and the Sentinel program. The position provides the opportunity to develop and hone communication, customer relationship, and leadership skills while working with a close-knit team of other system safety professionals. This position works with System Safety, Nuclear Surety, Cybersecurity, Program Protection, various other Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) supporting ICBM weapon systems, subsystems, and supporting systems. The successful candidate will be energetic, self-motivated, and have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with the desire to make a difference. Knowledge and experience working with the DoD and/or Air Force Safety policies and processes and Safety Risk Management Frameworks; is desired. Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as System Safety technical advisor and consultant to the System Safety Program Manager (PM), the Mission Defense Branch Lead, and the Systems Engineering Division Lead.

• Participates in training for all safety evaluation processes and in all safety-related activities.

• Evaluate all relevant program documents, work to resolve all safety issues, and coordinate with system assurance manager to analyze all safety requirements.

• Participate in various safety regulations, recommend modifications to existing design, ensure compliance to all organizational requirements, and administer all human safety.

• Analyze and perform assessments on all safety hazards, recommend improvements to human factor-engineering processes, ensure optimal integration of safety features on designs, provide required training, and ensure compliance to all customer requirements.

• Develop integrated system analysis plans.

• Coordinate with Nuclear Surety and Cybersecurity engineering process for all use cases, determine all safety requirements, and prepare required presentation for all safety evaluation meetings.

• Develop and participate in all test activities, ensure compliance to all safety requirements, and evaluate all system-engineering documents.

• Support testing and monitor all work according to Department of Defense (DoD), Air Force, state and federal regulations.

• Fulfill System Safety responsibilities defined in DoD, Air Force, and MIL-STD Instructions, and especially MIL-STD-882E. Required Skills and Experience:
• BS/MS eng., Computer science, software, mathematics, or physics

• 3 yrs of directly related experience (2 yrs with MS degree) in systems integration and analysis of military hardware and software systems/processes

• Board of Certified Safety Professional (BCSP) Associate Safety Professional (ASP)

• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance Why LinQuest?
