Title: System Helpdesk/Desktop Support
Location: Sullivan Park, Painted Post NY 14870
Duration: Long term
Candidate must have minimum of 4 years Computer Tech experience. Associates preferred, but not required.
Education and Experience:
AS degree in Computer Repair, or relevant field preferred
4 years experience as computer technician or similar role
Required Skills (These are skills that candidates MUST possess):
Strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems
Excellent PC troubleshooting skills
Able to read and understand technical manuals
Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects effectively
Experience with LAN/WAN networks
Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components
Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
Desired Skills (These are skills that would be nice for candidates to possess):
Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+) will be an advantage
MS Active Directory management
Computer hardware and data acquisition systems interfacing skills.
Soft Skills (Communication/Team/Leadership):
Very good communication abilities
Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
Able to work with customers to understand requirements and implement solutions
