Our client in the Greater Philly area is looking to hire a full-time System Engineer. This role is responsible for ensuring the operation, performance, and availability of ESXi/vCenter systems, compute nodes, backup infrastructure, and storage arrays across the organization. The position entails managing these systems, including performing updates, migrations, expansions, system builds, creating support documentation, and resolving problems. Additionally, this role will serve as a backup to the Linux engineer and other team engineers, with day-to-day support for Windows OS and beneficial Linux knowledge. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on skills to develop creative solutions for complex problems, balancing independent work with being a part of a high-performance team.
You must have 5+ years' experience with Windows and Microsoft technologies.
