For additional information about Meridian Knowledge Solutions, visit . Meridian is looking for Systems Administrator with a TS/SCI FS Poly to join our team. In your role as a System Administrator, you'll collaborate to develop innovative solutions to enable secure and reliable operations of Meridian's product and services. You'll work both individually and in a small team where you'll perform systems administration of cyber tools sets and server systems connected to networks across multiple domains. You'll provide support to developmental and operational systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client, server, storage, and network devices. You'll configure and manage Windows, UNIX, and Linux operating systems, and install and load operating system and application software. You'll support Windows and Linux systems engineering efforts in system design and evaluation, solution engineering, software development, or system administration. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Support the implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Meridian environments
Provide Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution
Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
Collaborate with the ISSE/ISSO to capture evidence for ATO and/or security authorizations/certifications
Build, configure, monitor, and maintain virtual environments
Build, configure, monitor, and maintain storage environments
Installing/uninstalling/configuring computer systems and network hardware components
Maintaining/troubleshooting customer Windows servers and workstations
Performing Windows System Administrative support to include adding and removing users, performing backups, installing software, and monitoring systems
Learning fundamental operations of commonly-used software and hardware equipment.
Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Accurately logging all tickets using the defined tracking software.
Ensuring proper incident and request recording, documentation, and closure.
Day-to-day coordinating and administrating tasks by ensuring quality and productivity standards are maintained while meeting customer schedules.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of experience as a systems administrator
Experience with installing and configuring devices, applications, and security tools
Experience with automating deployments and configuration management
Knowledge of DoD Risk Management Framework
Active TS/SCI with FS POLY required
