SVP - Balance Sheet Strategy & Analytics Manager

This Balance Sheet Strategy & Analytics Manager is a critical role for this bank. It is a newly created role and will work hand in hand with both the CFO and the Treasurer on innovative strategies relative to ALM, Capital and Liquidity. In this role you will take your quantitative and qualitative skill set and thorough understanding of how banks make money and balance sheet management skills and work directly with the CFO & Treasurer specifically on loan & deposit pricing and more fully building that functionality out at the bank. A deep understanding of deposit runoff, rate modeling and loan prepayment modeling will be key. You will be tasked with working with large amounts of data with QRM, Power BI, and Tableau as the primary software platforms that will help drive your success As you work with the CFO & Treasurer, you will take this data, regularly collaborate with the model validation team, then take your qualitative skills and present regularly senior management. Strong communication skills and the ability to present in laymen's terms is critical.

This key position as it's newly created will spend a lot of time working with their very sharp Treasurer, but as the role evolves will likely report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. We are looking for either a strong banking treasury professional that loves modeling and overall balance sheet management and preferably has been doing behavioral forecasting work at a $50B+ CCAR Bank. Your attention to detail, passion for your work, and being a communicative team player is going to be paramount to success in this role. A strong background in mathematics and statistics coupled with the banking pedigree will be key.
