Surgical Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Surgical Technician to join our team. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures. Your attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure will contribute to the successful outcome of surgeries.

Duties :

- Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available

- Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and other supplies

- Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgery to prevent infection

- Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery and communicate any changes to the surgical team

- Collect and analyze data related to patient outcomes and surgical procedures

- Provide basic life support in emergency situations

- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe surgical environment

- Ensure proper handling and disposal of surgical specimens

Requirements:
Min 2 years Surgical Technician experience required
1 year Acute Care experience preferred
Must have CST certification
Previous scrubbing experience is preferred
BLS (American Heart Association)
Vocational School Graduate
Covid Vaccinated

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
