We offer the following benefits to support you and your family: Health/Dental/Vision Insurance Flexible spending accounts Voluntary Protection: Group Accident, Critical Illness, and Identity Theft Adoption AssistanceFree Premium Membership to with preloaded credits for children and/or dependent adults Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your family Vacation, Personal Days and Holidays Tuition Assistance for career growth and development Matching 401(k) Retirement Programs Wellness Programs Position Summary: Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilization Navigate the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons you'll be supporting Adapt to the needs of emergency situations Provide clean-up and turnover of operating room to prepare for next patient Responsibilities Assist surgical team in the scrubbing role and report any breaks in aseptic technique Assist with retracting of tissue and organs, and suctioning by holding the retracting Perform surgical counts with the RN according to policy and procedure Assure appropriate equipment and supplies are available for each procedure Work closely with the instrument room as service specialist/instrument liaison to assure provision of quality Assist RN with circulator duties while under direct supervision Qualifications Education: High School Diploma/GED Licensure/Certification: Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CST/CSFA) required as of September 1, 2010 or 'grandfathered' employees or LVN BLS Certification Required Minimum Experience: Two (2) years of experience
