Responsible for various departments including the Operating Room, PACU, Endoscopy, Same-Day Outpatient Services, Sterile Processing, and Anesthesia, the Surgical Services Nurse Manager will play a key role in providing collaborative leadership. This involves overseeing the planning, directing, integrating, and coordinating of activities to meet departmental objectives and uphold high-quality services. The Perioperative Services Nurse Manager will handle personnel management, budget planning and monitoring, scheduling, systems improvement, compliance with regulatory requirements, and strategic planning to ensure the seamless functioning of the Surgery department.
The Surgical Services Nurse Manager must be California RN Licensed, BSN prepared, current BLS certification, and more than 2 years of Perioperative Leadership experience. This role will demand a combination of clinical expertise, strategic leadership, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of future patient care and safety within the surgical services department.
