Duties Serve as advisor for all operations pertaining to Information Assurance (IA) in the command to include development, planning, oversight, administration, management, implementation, and enforcement. Ensure command IT systems meet all established requirements, to include DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF). Responsible for the Cybersecurity analysis, review, staffing, coordination, and integration of capability proposals for all Configuration Control Board (CCB) portfolios environment requests. Supervise a team of IT Specialists to plan, execute, acquire, implement, and document requirements for resources and services related to Cybersecurity. Requirements Conditions of Employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required. This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) and is subject to applicant testing and random drug testing in accordance with DA guidelines. Must obtain and maintain information assurance certification and computing environment certifications per Army and DoD Directive 8140.01. This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Test and Evaluation Certification within 60 months of entrance on duty. This position has been designated for a "Mission-Critical Emergency Employee" for Continuity of Government Operations (COOP), meaning that the incumbent may be required to report for CONUS related duty during an emergency at an offsite location. A one-year probationary period may be required. A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
