Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a highly skilled Support Specialist Electrician to join their team. As a Support Specialist Electrician, you will be part of the Maintenance team supporting various departments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Support Specialist Electrician (2nd Shift) Location : Columbus, IN Pay Range : $31.00/hr with an additional $1.50/hr shift differential What's the Job? Troubleshoots, assembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical systems using all necessary tools to ensure equipment availability and capability. + Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and specifications using various tools, measuring, and testing instruments. + Fully proficient in performing troubleshooting, electrical repairs, and maintenance of equipment. + Participates actively with local Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development. + Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. What's Needed? High school diploma or equivalent experience; compliance with applicable regulations. + Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience. + Strong PLC troubleshooting skills, ability to read electrical prints, and use logic to diagnose equipment. + Ability to work from heights, operate fork trucks and PIVs, and utilize hoists and cranes. + Preferred: Industrial/manufacturing background, knowledge of PLCs, CNC Controls, Servos, Spindles, and Microns (ultra-precision).
