Help Duties Investigates stock/record/material discrepancies impacting inventory balances. Accumulates, organizes, trends, and evaluates data collected over time relative to errors and discrepancies captured in the course of daily work. Performs physical inventory counts, material inspections and location survey checks. Prepares Reports of Survey (DD Form 200), and forwards them to the appropriate authority for approval and resolution Reviews accountable property records / system transaction histories, copies of receipt and issue documents. Interviews involved personnel as required to determine the cause of inventory gains and losses that exceed the dollar limits prescribed by applicable instructions. Qualifications To qualify for a Supply Technician, your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this positon. To qualify at the GS-07 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-06 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet elgibility requirements including minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Credible specialized experience includes: Conducting physical inventories and location surveys Investigating stock/record/material discrepancies impacting inventory balances Preparing reports concerning results of investigation performed Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
