Help Duties Serves as liaison between Command Property Book office and Consolidated Distro Warehouse Provides planning, coordination and reviews requirements from HRC and external Agency Inventories property upon receipt and at periodic intervals to include expendable/non-expendable Receives incoming shipments; verifies items and signs for shipment upon validation of inventory Acquires, issues, collects and maintains hand receipts for all assigned customers Signs the primary hand receipt from the property book officer. Maintains files pertaining to property book transactions. Prepares documentation for distribution of property to HRC, AMRG, USAREC, USACC, AMU and National Guard and Reserve Commands Help Requirements Conditions of Employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. One year trial/probationary period may be required. This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position. Moderate to heavy lifting up to 30-75 pounds is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes a variety of operations or situations concerned with substance or content of supply actions, requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered. Experience using computer and automation systems managing and being responsible for Information Technology (IT) incoming property for suitability issues and property records for customers assigned to accesses the property book (PB) system on-line to post all items of property received, issued, or otherwise disposed. Experience preparing a variety of recurring reports such as equipment status reports & works as a team member during inspections. Experience conducting extensive searches for required information; reconstructing records for complex supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support for activities involving specialized or unique supplies, equipment, or parts; Experience performing routine aspects of supply work based on practical knowledge of standard procedures, where assignments include individual case problems related to a limited segment in one of the major areas of supply management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Customer Service (Clerical/Technical) Manages and Organizes Information Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06). For this position, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone, NO substitution of education for experience is permitted.
