Position Responsibilities

Learn all aspects of a purchasing department and its relation to the overall supply chain with exposure to demand planning, inventory management and vendor relations.

Maintain appropriate inventory levels and develop product ordering strategies.

Utilize analytical skills to help anticipate and react to inventory trends while assessing vendor performance.

Build strong vendor relationships through effective communication.

Forecast customer purchases to guide planning strategies.

Minimum Requirements

This full-time, 12-week internship is open to Junior-status students only.

Excellent communication and organizational skills a must.

Hardworking, assertive and enthusiastic personality.

Experience with Microsoft Excel a must; Access a plus.
