Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst
Location: Stamford, CT (hybrid work capabilities)
Compensation: $27-30/hr
Role Overview: The Supply Chain Analyst will oversee all aspects of order processing and work to enhance efficiencies in alignment with organizational goals. This individual will represent the company positively and efficiently, contributing to a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include achieving Supply Chain departmental objectives by measuring metrics, evaluating methods, and implementing necessary changes.
What you will do as a Supply Chain Analyst:
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, distributors, and warehouses
- Handle customer and sales communication
- Process and track orders, analyzing shipping timelines and addressing backorder issues
- Assist with sample orders and review distributor inventory reporting
- Propose process improvements and ensure order accuracy
- Serve as a backup for other team members in Supply Chain
- Follow up on credit and pricing holds
- Ensure accuracy of excise tax processing
- Assist with credit/rebills as required
- Adhere to allocation protocols and distributor designations
What we are looking for in a Supply Chain Specialist:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the service industry or recent high-performing college graduate with an interest in Supply Chain
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (strong Excel skills preferred)
- Ability to research and interpret information effectively
- Strong organizational skills to manage heavy workloads and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment and remain effective under pressure
