Job Description

Summary:

Join a team of dedicated Supply Chain professionals working on vital processes required to bring our great products to market. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Planning, you will have a major impact on improving and streamlining our Supply Chain Systems.

Location and Status: This is a full-time hybrid position requiring presence within our North Olmsted, OH office 3 days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday with the ability to work from home Mondays and Fridays. The successful candidate in this role must live within a commutable distance to our North Olmsted, OH offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an appropriate balance of inventory throughout the system to eliminate service misses.
  • Work with transportation team to ensure material movements are efficient.
  • Work with Inventory Team to create opportunities to identify and reduce obsolete and slow-moving inventory.
  • Lead in resolving over/short discrepancies.
  • Develop documentation for managing over/short process.
  • Investigate and develop course of action for materials that constantly require rebalancing.
  • Identify suppliers whose performance requires more rebalancing as a result of on-time shipments and/or how they ship materials (LCL, etc.).
  • Participateas a key team member in cross-functional supply chain projects that support the Fortune Brands Innovations Vision into Action.
  • Review inventory requirements for projects.
  • Review Optimal System Settings for Material Replenishment including which DC the material is stocked in and whether we order from other DC s or directly from supplier.
  • Monitor the performance of new products (sales vs. plan) and propose actions to prevent stock outs.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Business or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in any element of Supply Chain.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ERP systems - (i.e. SAP).
  • Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and establish relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with Demand Driven Planning is a plus
  • Ability to influence and drive solutions across supply chain
  • Must be a team player with the ability to think conceptually, flexibly and a strong focus on execution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software.
  • Collaborator who is comfortable with ambiguity.
