Supervisory Transportation Operations Specialist with Security Clearance

Duties Plans, organizes, and directs transportation activities related to the 1st TSC overall distribution management mission. Monitors ongoing transportation support programs and provides accountability for all aspects of transportation. Manages the communication, installation, operation, and technical support for Global Command and Control System (GCCS), Army GCCS (AGCCS), and collateral local area network for the movement of operations center. Completes transportation planning projects that identify and implement improvements to operations for movement of cargo to support military forces. Advises on the development and readiness of transportation operations functions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Top Secret security clearance required. Drug testing required. Overseas travel and travel on commercial and military aircraft required. Temporary duty travel up to 15% of the time required. One-year supervisory probationary period may be required if not already completed in accordance with 5 CFR criteria.
