Supervisory Physical Security Specialist with Security Clearance

Duties You will be responsible for security measures, equipment and requirements for physical security, crime prevention, anti-terrorism and force protection. You will provide system administration and management of the Marine Corps Electronic Security System (MCESS); scheduling and conducting required testing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. You will conduct, review and approve physical security surveys and crime prevention surveys, facility design plans, drawings, diagrams and other work completed by physical security specialists. You will supervise and maintain Lost and Found Program; review security waivers and exception requests You will conduct physical security education training programs. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision. You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government emergency vehicle operator's license and an explosives driver's license. You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: planning, administering and managing a physical security program; enhancing security and crime prevention posture of installation and administering and managing the physical security system administration.
