Supervisory Maintenance Specialist with Security Clearance

Duties Advise on the daily operations of maintenance facilities within the Readiness Division geographical area. Visit maintenance activities and/or units frequently to ensure compliance with maintenance standards and regulations. Advise personnel on appropriate repair procedures, shop operations, and other maintenance related matters. Monitor the Readiness Division maintenance budget to ensure equipment readiness and compliance with budget thresholds. Draft written instructions and procedures for responding to inquiries and/or providing feedback to the shops and/or units using automated systems. Maintain extensive knowledge of maintenance operations in order to advise the organization on equipment support mission needs. Act as liaison with various Army Level organizations to include higher headquarters to ensure equipment maintenance and logistical support has been properly arranged. Develop work plans to be accomplished by subordinate supervisors and leaders along with adjusting short term priorities as necessary.
