Position Description You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INTERDISCIPLINARY OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST/DATA SCIENTIST (SECTION HEAD/PRODUCT OWNER) in the Logistics Department, Readiness and Fleet Analytics Division, Advanced Analytics & Innovation (AA&I) Branch of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. Position Duties/Responsibilities You will be responsible for the supervision of interdisciplinary scientists, research analysts, and mathematicians assigned to and providing direct support to developing big data analytic tools, processes, and procedures.
You will be responsible for decomposing requirements into what needs to be developed for an interdisciplinary team of scientists. The team is responsible for determining how the requirements are accomplished.
You will be responsible for the products vision and development by interfacing with customers and related subject matter experts.
You will provide for adequate training, facilities, equipment, processes and provide leadership to enable personnel to competently and successfully perform their assigned functions and tasks.
You will process documentation and refinement, financial analyses and budgets.
