Supervisory Environmental Engineer/Physical Scientist with Security Clearance

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER/PHYSICAL SCIENTIST in the NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC) Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-03 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 through GS-14. This position has a control point at the GS-13 Step 10 equivalent. Duties You will lead a team of employees that provide compliance support and technology transfer to Navy and Marine Corps installations. You will identify developmental and training needs of employees to improve production or increase the quality of the work directed. You will interpret environmental laws, regulations, and policies to ensure technical compliance with regulations. You will lead and assign tasks and priorities for employees to accomplish the department's environmental mitigation goals. You will brief officials (e.g., military, civilian, contractors, federal, state agencies) on matters related to environmental compliance. You will conduct technical evaluations of program operations to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a US Citizen.
