Supervisory Electronics Technician with Security Clearance

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the QUALITY ASSURANCE DIVISION, REPAIR DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SUBMARINE SUPPORT FACILITY. Duties You will manage day to day operations of the RCL in conjunction with production efforts by personnel located within the RCL that are deemed necessary to support the RADIAC Program. You will prepare, direct, and/or assist in preparation of technical correspondences and reports related to work being accomplished in the RCL. You will communicate RADIAC policies and procedural requirements to end users and RCL personnel. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a US Citizen. You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience applying knowledge of RADIAC electronic equipment and its associated electronic test equipment and their electronic equipment operating requirements to be able to perform technical and engineering services in a manner responsive to the real world fleet needs.
Experience applying knowledge of various NAVSEA 04LR policies and procedures manuals such as the Navy RADIAC Program User's Manual, Operation and Certification of Navy RADIAC Calibration Laboratories, and RADIAC Equipment Calibration Procedures.
Experience applying knowledge of electronic technology and engineering concepts, principles and practices necessary to independently perform duties.
Experience applying knowledge of radiation health physics relating to radioactive sources, radioactive contamination and biological effects of radiation on the human body. Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
