Your Impact as a Nursing Supervisor:
As a Nursing Supervisor, you will:
Lead and Inspire: Guide and mentor a team of caregivers, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where everyone feels valued and empowered.
Ensure Operational Excellence: Assist the Nurse Manager or Director in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the unit's services, ensuring efficient workflows and adherence to policies and procedures.
Champion Patient-Centered Care: Uphold the highest standards of patient care by interpreting policies, procedures, and regulations, and ensuring compliance with them.
Manage and Coordinate: Oversee the unit's functions and activities, ensuring seamless coordination and effective communication among team members.
Maintain Clinical Competence: Stay up-to-date with clinical knowledge and maintain certifications to provide support and guidance to the unit when needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Current California Registered Nurse License
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
ANCC-recognized specialty certification (or within 1 year of hire)
1+ year of recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital in your specialty area
1+ years of Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience
Preferred:
Master's Degree in Nursing
Shared Governance experience
