What You Will Do: The Supervisor, Hybrid Cath Lab, assists the Director/Manager with specific leadership tasks and functions within the Hybrid Cath Lab. The Supervisor has oversight and responsibility for timely coordination of supplies and instrumentation, including sales representative availability, and assists the Hybrid Cath Lab leadership and educator in staff orientation and competency for the Hybrid Cath Lab staff roles. Responsibilities and Duties Provides guidance, clinical expertise, and mentorship to members of the healthcare team while utilizing available resources to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Oversees and provides support to Hybrid Cath Lab. Collaborates with operating room leadership for scheduling, staffing, and coordination of services. Engages physicians in dialogue regarding scheduling of cases, supplies and instrumentation needed, daily troubleshooting, etc. Participates in annual capital budget planning and attendance at New Technology Committee when products affecting their service line are presented. Provides oversight and leadership to Hybrid Cath Lab frontline employees, which includes aiding in performance evaluations and coaching actions as needed. What You Will Bring: Education Graduate of accredited (2) year Allied Health training program required Experience Minimum (3) years Cath Lab experience required Experience with progressive management in Cath/Electrophysiology lab(s) preferred Certification & Licensures BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart 'Healthcare Provider' (HCP) - AHA approved required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification preferred Minimum (1) of the following Licensure or Certification is required: Registered Nurse licensed in the state of VA; Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS); Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES); OR Registered Technologist (Radiography) (RT(R certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with registration in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (RT(CI . New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.
