Pony Bird is seeking a Supervisor to join our team to enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities. PAY RANGE OF $19.70 - $24.63 BASED ON EXPERIENCE EXCELLENT BENEFITS PAID TRAINING What does a Supervisor at Community Support Services do? Manage all aspects of day services and community integration, delivered in a group setting Provide immediate supervision of Direct Support Professionals Ensure medication orders are followed Assist in the implementation process of Individual and Behavior Support Plans Assist in decisions regarding hiring, terminations, and corrective action Cover shifts when needed to maintain mandated ratios Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders Establish volunteer sites and resources within the community Ability to travel independently while driving agency vehicles to provide transportation Schedule and Work Location: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm Herculaneum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree preferred in a Human Service field, including but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation, nursing, counseling and psychology from an accredited four-year university and/or 4 years' experience in the field of IDD. Minimum of 21 years of age Valid driver's license in good standing Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid and Medication Aide Certifications, paid training provided Ability to evacuate individuals served in the event of a fire, natural disaster, or another emergency Strong mathematical skills to utilize in managing department budgets Working knowledge and skill set to utilize multiple computer formats and systems Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in a professional manner Strong team leadership and supervisory skills Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to be flexible to provide the needs of the individuals served Learn more about what it's like to be a member of the Pony Bird team at Pony Bird, Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
