Job Description Salary: 71 459.00 USD Facility: Home Care Pharmacy Shift: Shift 1 Status: Full Time FTE: 1.000000 Bargaining Unit: ACE Associates Exempt from Overtime: Exempt: Yes Work Schedule: Days and Evenings with Call Weekend and Holiday Rotation Hours: Summary: In conjunction with the Director of Pharmacy, ensures compliance with the rules and regulations that govern the practice of Pharmacy. This position is considered the supervising pharmacist of record. Responsibilities: SKILL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM): EDUCATION Graduate of an accredited college of Pharmacy required Professionally licensed in New York State required Current registration certificate to practice Pharmacy in New York State required EXPERIENCE Demonstrated experience in long term care One (1) year management experience preferred Experience in program and service development, quality assurance, medication use indicator experience, and cost containment programs IV clinical experience preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY Ability to operate the following machinery such as: laminar flow hood, biological hood, compounding devices, computer systems, prescription balance, automated medication dispensing machines Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong supervisory skills Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to convey information to department personnel in an understandable manner Ability to coordinate activities of multiple personnel Good manual dexterity Knowledge of math Computer skills Ability to lead Long Term Care Pharmacy staff
