Job Details

Working on-site at New Holland plant. If there is travel, company will pay for car rentals, gas, and hotels with a daily per diem.

Construction Superintendent is responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team-managing, supervising, monitoring, directing and deploying the various people, partners, materials, and resources required for the successful completion of an off-site construction project from start to finish.

  • Read, understand, interpret, evaluate and apply blueprints, details, technical specifications, and/or technical manuals
  • Knowledge of methods of construction, procedures, practices, materials, equipment, tools, precautions, and safety
  • Read and apply project schedules and Statements of Work
  • Collaborate using project management and scheduling software
  • Communicate strategic, tactical, technical, and project information and direction clearly and effectively to both internal/external teams and individuals
  • Implement leading-edge technologies to benefit projects
  • Identify design features that entail cost premiums and recommend value engineering alternatives that deliver comparable or improved function
  • Develop staff through coaching and training


Qualifications:
  • Minimum Associates Degree, Technical School or experience equivalent with progressively more responsible exposure to design, cost, sequence, logistics and field installations of HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing Mechanical Systems.
  • Work outside or inside, in all seasons, in a range of temperatures
  • PC proficiency in a Windows environment, experience with SmartSheets and Salesforce a plus
  • Second language is a plus
