At the present time, vacancies exist for summer student workers to work within the Division of Student Services of the CCIU supporting our classrooms and teachers during the summer of 2024. Qualifications: Current high school student Current police, child abuse and FBI fingerprint clearances required (if age 18 or over.) Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting in the implementation of basic skills Performing duties as directed by the teacher Duties may include 1:1 instruction and small group instruction Toileting and other basic care While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, stand, and walk The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. May include positioning of students with physical disabilities. The weight and ability of students requiring assistance may vary greatly, all students are 3-6 years old.
