Description

Maintains Renville County highways, bridges and rural roads, and rights-of-way in safe condition by performing the following duties:

Survey crew member; assists in light maintenance duties.

Starting salary will depend upon qualifications.
Essential Duties

• Assists survey crew in preliminary and construction surveys.
• Seal coating, traffic control.
• Picking up litter along roads.
• Minor upkeep of various County Shops and grounds.
• Crack filling and sealing consisting of traffic control.
• Traffic control during maintenance operation, consisting of flagging and placing, moving and removing signs and barricades.
• Weed control along County roads using hand-held mechanical equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Graduate or equivalent (GED); valid MN Driver's License; Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
