Summer Camp Nurse

Saint Vincent College seeks applications for a part-time RN position for summer camps. The position is responsible for assisting with summer camps held on the Saint Vincent College campus. Required Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program Current PA RN License that is active and in good standing Current Basic Life Support (BLS) approved curriculum of the American Heart Association (CPR and AED) certification Experience: At least one year experience in a professional medical work environment with an understanding of anatomy and physiology, medical ethics, medical terminology, and an understanding of the Privacy Acts. Essential Duties: Check-in campers. Review medical forms, disease conditions, and medications the camper is taking, including over-the-counter medications. Complete medication log and assign times to distribute. Distribute all medications to campers. Other Duties: As requested by the Director of Event and Conference Services. Special Challenges and Environment: Performs in a wellness setting caring for individuals under the age of 18. Must maintain confidentiality according to established guidelines. Working time varies from morning to late evening hours, including some weekends.
