Derby Academy in Hingham, Mass is looking for Per Diem nurses for approximately 350 students, grades Pre Kindergarten to 8th grade. The school is open Monday through Thursday 8-4, and Fridays 8-1:10.
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care to students with acute and chronic health issues, ensuring their safety, health and well-being.
Communication with Teachers, Faculty and Staff any pertinent information pertaining to the health care of students.
Communication with parents: organizing dismissals if necessary and following up with any health information based on care given to students.
Requirements:
Valid nursing license in Massachusetts
Medication administration
Knowledge of basic computer skills
Excellent communication skills
