Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Substation Technician to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The Substation Technician will be responsible for installing, testing, maintaining, and repairing substation equipment and related electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience working with high voltage power systems, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities:

- Install, test, maintain, and repair substation equipment and related electrical systems
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on substation equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with substation equipment
- Perform electrical and mechanical tests on substation equipment
- Make recommendations for repairs and upgrades to substation equipment
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training in electrical or related field
- 3+ years of experience working with high voltage power systems
- Strong technical skills and ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards
