Rock Wall Attendant Position Description Minimum qualifications First Aid/CPR/AED certification Excellent people skills Climbing wall experience preferred Must be a current MSU student Must be able to work well as a team player and independently Must demonstrate good customer service skills Responsibilities Check climbers in and out of the climbing wall area Monitor climbers for safe technique and proper behavior Enforce climbing wall policies, procedures, and rules Care, maintenance, cleaning, and inspection; on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis; of the climbing wall, climbing wall equipment, and the climbing room itself Checkout, track, and check in harnesses, shoes, and belay devices to climbing wall participants Climbing/belay instruction and route setting with proper training Inspect equipment prior to wall use or condition and refuse use of any inappropriate equipment Provide belay for participants when necessary Insure all paperwork and liability waivers are on file Participate in all scheduled meetings/trainings and other projects and duties assigned Compensation $10/hr Additional Information Equal Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Statement: Minot State University (MSU) is committed to the principle of equal opportunity in education and employment.
